Projects of the IICCR in which volunteers are involved
The Institute for the Investigation of Communist Crimes in Romania launched a volunteering campaign. It addresses young people who are interested in studying about communism in Romania, and, more precisely, in investigating the crimes, abuses and infringements of human rights enforced by the regime. The Institute welcomes all students or graduates in History, Law, Political Studies, Journalism, Communication or Sociology to join as volunteers. All students or graduates who are interested may submit their CVs to the following address: voluntar@iiccr.ro.
The ones who will be admitted will have the opportunity of working with outstanding public figures, a young yet experienced team of experts and bring their contribution to the Institute's projects as well.
The participants will benefit by logistic support, access to the Institute's library and data base. They will also take part in the IICCR's projects. Moreover, considering both the Institute's need of experts and the candidates options, the chosen ones may activate within the Investigations Department, the Secretarial Department or other sections within the Institute.
At the end of the volunteering period, the participants will receive a certificate attesting the activities undertaken within the IICCR. The Institute's Management will make every effort to ensure that these volunteering periods will count as specialized training practice.
